Fall, the season of prophecy

For me the fall season has been a time of "fortellings." It is also the season that holds many anniversaries of disturbing events, the most recent two years ago when I was confronted with the necessity of paying the physical price of an extension for my life. Today I find myself reliving the state of alert preparing for "more bad news." I am aware that one of the functions of remembering is the reworking and coping with what was overwhelming at the time; to remove the gnawing anxieties. more »
